Deep Pastel Tahitian Pearl Necklace

Tahitian pearls are one of the highest prized gems. Found in French Polynesia, Panama and Mexico. Each Oyster only produces one to two pearls in its lifetime. They are produced in black lipped oysters, therefore the natural colours of the pearls are usually dark; ranging from grey, black, peacock green and aubergine. Occasionally lighter pearls are produced, white, gold and pink (all with grey overtones). This is an unusual deep pastel row of Tahitian pearls.
