Grey Tahitian Pearl & Pear-Cut Diamond Victorian Pendant

A late Victorian pearl and natural diamond pendant. A centrally-set pear-cut foiled natural diamond (weighing 0.75 ct), set on silver and gold filigree, embellished with twelve rose-cut natural diamonds (weighing 0.36 ct), finished with a grey Cultured Tahitian pearl drop (1cm in diameter).  

This pendant is a wonderful reflection of Victorian jewellery which was designed to be eye-catching and dramatic in style. The lively natural diamonds featured serve as a nice contrast to the stormy grey Tahitian pearl drop.
